Bangladesh e-Passport: new, renewal and re-issue

• New passport: first time, or no valid passport.
• Renewal: your passport is expiring or expired.
• Re-issue: lost or damaged passport.
• Correction: a mistake in name, date of birth or other details.

• NID or birth certificate (a correct online-registered birth certificate is commonly needed)

1. Fill in the online application on the official e-passport website.
2. Choose the passport type, number of pages, validity and delivery speed.
3. Pay the fee through the approved channel and print the application and payment slip.
4. Visit the passport office on your appointment for biometrics and document check.
5. Collect the passport when it is ready, or track it online.
